Welcome to Northumbria University’s Supplier Site

This webpage is here to help you adapt to using Northumbria University’s new procure to pay (P2P) system. Adopting an automated P2P system is part of our ongoing drive to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness and will give us greater visibility of spend and fewer manual processes.

The benefits of our new P2P solution to your business include;

  • Simple self-service, enabling you to keep your company information up to date
  • Receiving instant electronic Purchase Orders via email or xml (POs)
  • Confirmation of order receipt, including a delivery date
  • More visibility for your products and services with potential University buyers

Our chosen partner is Coupa™, a leading global technology solution provider, specialising in payment and procurement solutions. This cloud-based procurement tool enables Northumbria University to connect directly with you and provide University employees with a full view of your products and services.

For existing suppliers, the University will migrate data from its current supplier database to the Supplier Information Manager (SIM) - the University’s new online repository for supplier information).

The SIM is part of the Coupa Supplier Network (CSN); the hub for all Coupa data. Around two weeks prior to the launch (we will be in touch nearer the time) we will ask you to register on the CSN. Registration on the CSN will allow you to view purchase orders and submit invoices electronically. There is no cost to you for registering and no additional software is needed.

We will be populating this site with easy to follow instructions and guidance for the Coupa Supplier Network over the coming weeks. Further communication will be emailed to you with regards to next steps.
