Early Bird Discount for September 2021

EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT

 

£500 tuition fee discount for early applicants.

Northumbria University is committed to supporting students achieve their goals. The Early Bird Discount seeks to award students who choose to begin a new course or continue their studies and gain a Masters qualification at Northumbria University. 

If you apply to study on a full-time Masters course* by 4pm on the 1 April 2021, you will automatically receive a £500 discount off your course fees. 

This discount applies to a large selection of our full-time postgraduate taught Masters courses, and is available to students studying at the Newcastle Upon Tyne campus.

Terms and Conditions

To be eligible for the Early Bird Discount 2021 you must:

  • Be a Home/UK student
  • Apply for an *eligible full-time Masters course for September 2021 entry, by 16:00 on Thursday 1 April 2021
  • Meet the conditions of your offer and accept your offer to study at Northumbria University
  • Be a self-funded student

Eligible courses

 All full-time postgraduate courses starting at our Newcastle campus in September 2021 with the exception of:

  • Primary Education PGCE
  • School Direct PGCE
  • Occupational Therapy (Pre-Registration)
  • Any course which attracts Undergraduate funding

Important information

  • Students in receipt of Early Bird Discount will be entitled to apply for other scholarship and discount schemes offered by Northumbria University including the Alumni Discount (where applicable)
  • The Early Bird Discount is awarded as a fee waiver and is not a cash sum
  • The Early Bird Discount applies to eligible full-time Masters courses studied at the Newcastle upon Tyne campus, starting in September 2021
  • Students who are eligible for the Early Bird Discount will be automatically considered, there is no separate application form
  • If you transfer to a course where the Early Bird Discount offer is not applicable, the discount will be removed and you will be liable to pay the additional £500
  • If you defer your offer to the following year or to a different start date other than September 2021, the Early Bird Discount is no longer applicable
  • Students are still able to apply, and may be eligible for the Government Loan and other sources of finance to support PGT study
  • EU and International students are not eligible to receive the Early Bird Discount
  • Northumbria reserves the right to withdraw the scheme at any point
  • The University's decision is final and cannot be challenged; there is no right of appeal
